Irish Farmhouse Cheese Board

In the late 1970’s, approximately eight Irish dairy farming families began making farmhouse cheese.  In the past, cheese-making in Ireland had been exclusively produced by large scale factories and mainly concentrated on cheddar cheese production.  Savor our favorite Irish farmhouse cheeses, attractively packaged with an attractive handmade bamboo cheese board. This selection of farmhouse cheeses is a perfect combination for a small party or cheese course. It includes:

• Kerrygold Dubliner: Consider it a cheddar that the Irish cross-bred with Parmigiano Reggiano. (8 oz.)
• Cashel Blue: A truly outstanding blue cheese from Tipperary. Young, extra creamy and not salty. (8 oz.)
• Cahill's Farmhouse Cheddar with Porter: It doesn't get anymore Irish than this! Made in Limerick, the yeasty flavor of porter complements this wonderful cheddar. (8 oz.)
• Irish Green Wax Mature Cheddar: Green Wax gives this "bitey" Irish cheddar a distinctive Irish appearance. Pair it with ale, of course! (8 oz.)
• Bolands Cream Crackers: These Irish crackers are the perfect base for jams, marmalades, cheeses, or simply with butter spread on top. (7.1 oz.)
